Innovative and Inspiring: Helvetia's Commitment to Swiss Art

Helvetia Art Foyer

The Helvetia Art Foyer, a publicly accessible exhibition space at the Basel headquarters, displays artworks from the collection in monographic, dialogic and thematic exhibitions. Selected artists are also invited to present solo exhibitions.

For twenty years, the Helvetia Art Prize has been supporting young artists after they have completed their artistic training in Switzerland. The first exhibition in the new Helvetia Art Foyer is dedicated to the momentum: the impetus of creative development and the impulses of artistic processes. Artworks that are already part of the company's own collection encounter more recent works by former art prize winners from 2004 to 2024.

Kathrin Affentranger, Josse Bailly, Bisso Yann Stéphane, Andriu Deplazes, Florian Germann, Aloïs Godinat, Dijan Kahrimanovic, Elisa Larvego, Kaspar Ludwig, Tiphanie Kim Mall, Luc Mattenberger, Thomas Moor, Anita Muçolli, Gina Proenza, STELLA and Jonas Van Holanda.

Duration of exhibition: 30 May to 29 August 2024 (except 1.8.2024)
Opening hours: Every Thursday from 4 to 8 pm – St.Alban-Anlage 26, Basel
