Comprehensive holiday cover is temporary comprehensive cover that you can take out in addition to your existing Helvetia partially comprehensive insurance. You can take out comprehensive holiday cover individually for one to no more than five weeks.
Why does comprehensive holiday cover make sense for me?
With temporary comprehensive cover, you will always be on the safe side when abroad.
That is because the liability element provides financial cover for any loss or damage that you cause to other vehicles, items, animals or people when in your car. Partially comprehensive insurance covers you for any loss or damage to the vehicle that is caused by neither yourself nor other drivers, such as storm damage and theft. Only with comprehensive insurance are you also insured for any damage that you cause to your car yourself.
For which vehicles can comprehensive holiday cover be taken out?
Comprehensive holiday cover can be taken out for vehicles up to and including the seventh year of use and is available for the following types of vehicle:
