The dream of owning your own home raises many financial and insurance-related questions. This is exactly where MoneyPark and Helvetia come in: MoneyPark, a Helvetia Group company, offers independent mortgage and real estate advice, while Helvetia contributes its expertise in insurance and pension issues – two brands, one employer.

Exciting, comprehensive and profitable for all
Fabian Bochsler, Sales Manager Pensions & Own Home at MoneyPark

I have been working at MoneyPark as a mortgage advisor since 2018 – a conscious decision after getting to know the rather rigid and inflexible banking world. MoneyPark is different: here I have the freedom to find individual offers for our customers that are precisely tailored to their needs. Thanks to our network of over 100 partners, we can offer tailor-made financing solutions. And that's exactly what makes my work in the Swiss mortgage world so varied and exciting.

From the initial consultation to the optimal solution, I work closely with customers, developing individual financing concepts that go beyond a conventional banking solution. I explain connections, provide clear and transparent advice and help people to realize their dream of owning a home – regardless of whether it involves financing, pension provision, insurance or tax aspects.

My day-to-day work is incredibly multifaceted: I am in close contact with customers, coordinate with partners and put together the right solutions. I find liaising between laypeople and experts particularly exciting – it’s this mix of the right communication and the opportunity to really make a difference – so that I too can develop personally in the financial world.

It's not always easy to convince customers on the phone – they usually only know me via the Internet, from an advertisement or through a recommendation. Gaining their trust by telephone within ten minutes and persuading them to set up a personal meeting to discuss their financing is a difficult but also exciting challenge.

So how do you succeed? By enjoying dealing with people, really listening and thinking in a holistic manner that goes beyond pure financing. Because I have the flexibility to structure my daily work independently, I am exactly where my customers need me – on site or online. Supported by a strong Helvetia team, in which we encourage each other and grow together, I can create real added value for my customers with MoneyPark.

Strategic, customer-oriented, varied – and sometimes a bit of detective work
Anisa Imhof, real estate expert at MoneyPark

Many people think that working as a real estate expert is glamorous – luxurious properties, high commissions and exciting negotiations. But to be successful, you need more than just enthusiasm for beautiful houses. A real estate sale is an intense and very emotional process that often lasts for weeks or even months and is mainly about getting to know people and their stories. I support my customers very closely and am in contact with them almost daily. This creates a trusting relationship that can extend far beyond the actual sales process.

In addition to the personal component, however, it also requires a clear service focus, analytical thinking and negotiation skills. Pricing can be challenging: sellers often have high expectations that don’t always match current market conditions, while buyers want to get the best deal – a classic conflict of interest. Sensitivity is required here in order to achieve a fair and successful conclusion for all parties involved – without one side feeling disadvantaged.

Flexibility is another must in this industry. No two days are the same: from answering countless enquiries to viewings and negotiations through to creating information kits and market analyses – the tasks are many and varied. And work often takes place outside normal office hours, as you have to fit in with your customers.

Selling real estate is much more than just a business – it’s a whole world in and of itself. Patience, empathy and clear communication are crucial. Because in the end, it's not just about selling, but about accompanying people on their way to a new phase in their life and offering sustainable solutions – that's success for me.
