As an employer, you are obliged by law to continue paying a sick employee’s salary for a certain period (Art. 324a of the Swiss Code of Obligations – CO). Many collective employment agreements include provisions concerning continued salary payments beyond this compulsory period. Without daily sickness benefits insurance, this can result in a financial burden for your company. Helvetia’s collective daily sickness benefits insurance provides optimum protection for your employees.
