Customer service specialists are in demand in businesses for whom customer satisfaction is important – like us. It is essential to focus on customers and their needs in order to ensure success. That's where you come in!
You will spend most of your time in the Helvetia Service Center, where you will deal with customer concerns relating to property insurance and private insurance. As well as providing expert advice on our products, your main tasks will include independently amending customer and contract details, and offering suitable insurance solutions. Acting as a point of contact for claims, you will advise and support callers, often in difficult situations, by initiating further action. You will learn how to communicate with customers verbally and in writing via various channels.
During your apprenticeship, you will attend vocational school and take external courses, focusing on verbal and written communication via different channels. At Helvetia, you will undergo insurance-specific training and gain knowledge of the insurance sector and our products. Numerous events will provide variety and fun, such as the StartCamp, the General Assembly, the possibility of a stay abroad and various workshops. In conclusion, you will be prepared for your final apprenticeship exams at the FitforExams Camp, so that you can subsequently celebrate passing them.
Our modular structure allows you to design your apprenticeship to suite your own interests. Here’s how it works: Some modules are compulsory and others are optional. So if you want to be a bit more creative, for example, you can apply your digital native know-how to a social media project. Or if you fancy improving your foreign language skills, you can spend a few months in a different language region abroad or in Switzerland as part of your apprenticeship. But even the compulsory modules still leave room for fun! For example, there’s the Start Camp, an event you take part in with other apprentices from all over Switzerland, or opportunities to focus on a specific theme in the context of your working and learning situation. We offer a wide range of courses because we recognize the importance of enabling you to help design your apprenticeship individually according to your personal interests and strengths.
Due to your good communication skills and flair for sales, there will be numerous career opportunities and promotion prospects after your apprenticeship in related areas such as marketing and sales.
Can you keep your calm? Do you love customer contact and is communication your greatest passion? If so, this new apprenticeship is just right for you.
You will also benefit from six weeks' holiday and many other benefits such as a voucher for CHF 500 for your private laptop and great graduation gifts.
Helvetia Insurance Switzerland also won the Great Place To Work – "Great Start" seal in 2021 for the outstanding conditions it offers in relation to its apprenticeships, trainee programme and Young Insurance Professional programme.
