SAP Ariba is a tool that enables all elements of a procurement process to be carried out digitally – from the registration of a supplier to tenders, orders and invoicing. Helvetia is currently in the process of implementing this tool, which is expected to be completed by 2024.
Helvetia is consistently driving forward the digitalisation of its processes. With SAP Ariba, many work steps can be standardised and simplified, and manual effort is reduced. At the same time, Helvetia gains an even better overview of its supplier relationships and can optimise its procurement strategy.
Ariba helps Helvetia's suppliers to digitalise their own processes. It saves manual effort and helps to keep process costs low through the electronic exchange of documents.
It offers automated and secure document processing and storage. In addition, the entire process from quotation to order to payment is clearly documented in one place and can always be viewed. With the Business Network, SAP Ariba opens up access to the world's leading cloud-based trading network, which increases the sales opportunities of suppliers registered there and gives them access to new customers.
Many hundreds of thousands of companies from Switzerland, Europe and all over the world are already registered in the SAP Ariba Business Network and make their purchases and sales there. In this way, suppliers can also interact with many other potential customers by using SAP Ariba. You can find more informa-tion here:
No. The standard version of Ariba is free for suppliers. There is a fee-based version with additional services, but this is not required for working with Helvetia. Further information on the various options can be found here:
Our suppliers receive documentation on use and registration in the course of registration. The registration link will be sent by Helvetia Group Procurement.
During the implementation of SAP Ariba at Helvetia, orders will still be placed in some areas using the previous channels (post, e-mail, telephone, etc.). After the full implementation, all procurements will be made via SAP Ariba. There are a few exceptions to this, for example in the area of real estate projects. Companies that are active in these areas will be informed by their contact persons at Helvetia. In order to continue working with Helvetia, it is mandatory for our partners to register as a supplier of Helvetia via SAP Ariba. They will receive a registration link from us for this purpose.
