Stakeholder-Engagement

By talking to our stakeholders we can better understand our environment, its needs and the consequences of our actions, and get honest feedback. Together we can act more sustainably.
Cultivating contacts
We maintain a regular, constructive dialogue with its key stakeholders: employees, customers, investors, competitors, business partners, supervisory authorities, non-government organizations, politicians and society.
Our aim is to:
  • compare internal and external perspectives.
  • obtain critical feedback for assessment purposes and identify the potential for improvement.
  • boost awareness and consensus on priority sustainability themes.
  • evaluate and focus on our key sustainability themes.
  • further develop our sustainability strategy.
  • identify and exploit collaborative opportunities for achieving sustainable development.

Our engagement

The scope and form of our engagement differ depending on the needs of our stakeholders. Employees, customers, shareholders and investors are kept informed on a regular basis via benchmark studies and surveys, as well as at events, investor meetings and the shareholders’ meeting, and invited to participate in a dialogue in which sustainability themes are addressed. Direct contact with non-government organizations, supervisory authorities, associations, politicians, as well as our competitors and business partners, is thematically based. In addition, Wir are engaged in various initiatives and associations with a view to joining forces within and beyond the sector.

A detailed description of stakeholders and their key concerns can be found in our latest sustainability report.
