In the myHelvetia customer portal you can view your current settings under "Profile - Digital Dispatch" and adjust them if you wish.

We firmly believe that digital dispatch makes it easier for you keep track of all your documents. However, if you disagree, you can change your dispatch preferences to dispatch by post. Postal dispatch will continue to be free of charge.

No, there is a single dispatch method setting in myHelvetia which applies to all insurance products.

The "Digital dispatch" setting overrides any difference in the correspondence or billing address. Documents delivered digitally are sent to the policyholder. With digital dispatch, no post is sent to the correspondence or billing address entered.

Currently, all private customers with non-life insurance have the option of switching to digital dispatch. With the following types of insurance, digital dispatch will only be possible at a later date:

• Construction insurance
• Art insurance
• Life insurance
• Whole life insurance
• Disability pensions
• Fund accounts
• Retirement income solutions
• Accident insurance
• Health insurance
• Interim accident insurance
• Pension fund insurance certificates for persons insured under occupational benefit schemes

For some specific purposes, you will still be required to order an original policy in paper form – for example if the insurance entitlement is to be pledged or assigned, or for the purpose of naming a beneficiary, which is irrevocable and applies to pension policies only.

• Premium invoices with eBill active (these go directly to online banking as before)
• Reminders about unpaid premiums
• Correspondence containing medical information
• Correspondence in the event of a claim
