The Volocopter 2X is a series model of a passenger multicopter, a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft powered purely by electricity and capable of carrying 2 passengers. In addtion to looking exceptionally cool, Volocopters will be used in the future as autonomous, low-cost aircraft taxis and thus enable completely new mobility in urban areas.
